Photogrammetry + 3D Scanning

About

This is a series of 3D models that were created from their real life counterparts. The first two models - the model of kassandra from Assassin's Creed Odyssey and the model of geralt of Rivia from the Witcher series - were created using through photogrammetry. This means that a large set of photos were taken of their real life statues that were then plugged into Meshroom (a free photogrammetry tool). The model of kassandra was furthermore cleaned up using MeshLab (decimation) and Blender (by hand). Both models were rendered in Blender.

The model of a stork was created from a 3D scan that was done in the university. The scan was also cleaned up in MeshLab and remodeled in Blender (large parts of legs were missing). Since the color data from scan were stored in vertices (in the point cloud), I've created all textures from scratch in Substance Painter. The renders shown were also generated in Substance Painter with NVIDIA's Iray renderer.
